Spring is right around the corner!

Cuyahoga Valley National Park is in full preparation mode. The volunteer office has been preparing for Alternative Spring Break, Days of Service, Drop-In events, Bioblitz, and many other Centennial events. The picture above is last year’s Spring Break crew. This year we are hoping to invite fifty college students to participate in a fun filled weekend at Cuyahoga Valley National Park!

Over the past few wintry months, CVNP has been preparing for the nice weather to come. Some of the projects that I have been tasked with include: creating a schedule for drop-in events for 2016, recruitment for Spring Break, E-news updates for volunteers, and seed sowing events that have just begun this month.  All in all, there is a lot planned for 2016, stay tuned!

IN THE SPOTLIGHT: School program that I helped lead.

4*This photo was taken at Virginia Kendall Lake.  Park Ranger, Ryan Ainger and I led a hike on one of our famous cross country skiing trails.  Our group, a local class from a school in Akron, enjoyed taking a hike and exploring the Cuyahoga Valley National Park.  I continue to allow others to find their park and I continue to #findmypark each and everyday!
