The Park and JAWS Program continue to partner in efforts to maintain the parks trails.
The group was out this morning spreading mulch on the last part of the trail. We had a larger group this time around, a whole 7 guys showed up, ready to work off some community service hours!
The park gained 28 volunteer hours and more trail for our visitors. It was a busy Saturday too, so we are glad they were able to make it out.
It had rained a couple days earlier, but with it still being winter and the cooler temperatures on the way, the ground hardened up for the trucks and wheelbarrows.
JAWS has a van and trail they bring with them along with supplies like shovels and rakes.
We have plenty of mulch for them and welcome their help!
